I know the squabbles sometimes, nay most times appear childish, but it does make people come and have a read.
I saw about 20 names up there earlier. Not seen that for a while. As long as things don't breach Hostboard's rules, is it really a problem?
I'm kinda sitting on the fence here. Some neutral parties that have a look might think the glam community is nothing but a bunch of bitches. It is morbidly interesting though, like everyone slows down to have a look at the prang on the side of the motorway.
Thoughts?

ehh,it's mildly amusing at best.I still love this board because the people are real. I don't consider this a "bitchy" board at all. Sometimes the "squables" are mildly amusing,at other times like watching a train wreck. My two cents for what it's worth. oh,yeah,it's worth two cents

Sure just look at that thread...Hell If I'd want a street team member like that talking shit as if he owns the band. He'd be kicked to the curb in an instant.

But Oasis were the next big thing. The glam scene is fast approaching middle age, if not already there.

Well personally I think everyone has the right to type what they like on a board. Its all fair game & if they get rediculed for what they type, thats fair too.
If the Creeps aprove of whoever was posting in the other thread is a whole different matter.

Oh, who knows?
The problem with that thread is that it could actually prove to fall into a legal case, and if
it does go that far, then those knuckleheads are fucking up big time by having a little squabble
an internet message board. If it ever does go to small claims or anything, it is best to stay away
from the party you have a dispute with and not discuss shit. If PC did indeed steal that guys
equipment that he leant them, then he has a lawsuit on his hands. I hate the whole lawsuit
angle, but gear ain't cheap, and sometimes it is needed.
As for the Glam community being a bunch of whiney bitches, well, I think we all know that to
being VERY true. Heck, there is a certain truth to a band in this style naming itself "Primmadonna's".
I'm not saying that they are, but it is no secret that the Glam community is full of them. Let's see,
Vince Neil, Seb Bach, Stephen Percy, Jani Lane, Joe Leste, too many small bands to mention who forget
that no matter how much attention they get within the Glam community they are still small bands
that have no real importance in the BIG music industry and that they should be kissing the ass
of anybody who actually wants to discuss them, Mike Monroe, David Lee Roth (no matter what style of
music Van Halen might be, DLR can pull up a chair in the Glamland Cafe), and this list could
go on for days, including the old folk from days past such as Marc Bolan, who by all accounts ended
up a nice guy, but at one point was rather a pompous jerk. But it goes with the music, it seems.
But I do agree that in a style of music that is trying to get back on it's feet, it is a terrible thing. Bad publicity
is one thing, but when it is something along these lines, where you are turning on your own, it is wrong.
I still look at Lesli as a dick for the shit he pulled on Scritt Scrat. It also looks REAL bad if the only time
you show up to a site is to start shit like this, and then to tell the people on the site that you
don't care if they like the band or not and that they can fuck off for all you care. Especially when you
prove that you DON'T read the site by saying that nobody here, but the extreme few, like the band. I do believe
only one other person and myself have ever spoken poorly about PC. And neither of us really spoke too
bad about them, we just said that we didn't understand the hype everybody was putting onto them. Good band,
but not the saviours of Glam.
Damn, another Bible passage from me. I'm sorry, I've really tried to stop this type of post from happening.
